Mikulasska hut is the oldest and the most beautiful hut in Demanova valey.It was built i 1945. Since 1995 was completely reconstructed but only inside.Exterior is original.Architects of the reconstruction project are
Ing.arch. Pavel Bobak, Ing.arch. Igor Repa, Ing. Vladimfr Ondras.Reconstruction was realised by Stavoindustria a.s. Liptovsky Mikulas.Mikulasska hut is situated near wonderful Vrbicke pleso.
Residenial JASNA with dominanat Chopok which is high 2 024 m is ideal place for skiing.Here is cabin lift, 5 chair lifts, 17 lifts, 25 km well maitened slopes where is used also artificial snow, and also 30 km for recreational skiing.
Demanovska valey is the most visited locatity in Low Tatras.
It lies on south part from Liptovsky Mikulas, on north slopes of Low Tatras moutains. Low Tatras is huge mountain system with main edge long 82 km towards west and east side.
The highest summits exceeds 2000 m height above sea level. Most beautiful valey of Low Tatras is 16 km long ranged from main edge among Dumbier mountain2043 m, Krupova hola mountain 1927, Chopok 2003 m, Polana mountain 1889 m to the north from liptov fold.
On sides is delimited by expressive aisle edges. Valey is part of National park of Low Tatras where from all remarkable, landscape scenery worths is most beautiful Demanovsky carst and Vrbicke pleso.
The ideal slopes, world known caves, possibility of summer tourism, wonderful fauna and flora with ideal climate gave reason to built in this valey center of tourism in Demanovska valey which lies at an altitude of 700 m to 2000 m.
Demanovska valey was long time known only in the speheres of admirers of subterranean beauty.Research and itinerary of icicled parts in 19. and begining of 20. century Demanovske caves became famous in whole cultural world.
Second step to renown Demanovska valey was decision to built lift Chopok. From this time is number of tuorists increasing every winter season.And this is the reason to build plant and equipment in valey.
Ski resort has more homonogeos down hill skiing slopes where was organized World cup cmpetition, Europe cup competition, World championship of juniors, etc.
