Mountain Hotel Puste Pole is situated in a beautiful woodland area, on the borders of counties Horehoronie, Liptov, Spis and Gemer. The Hotel was originally an old Hunters Chateaux, owned by Bulgarian Czar Ferdinand Coburg, it is located in an area of beautiful quite nature, miles from civilisation, near area called King‘s Hola.
Due to it’s unique location you can visit the counties of Spis, Slovensky Raj, Muranska Planina, High Tatras, and see the beautiful Chateaus and Castles such as; Krasna Horka, Belliar, Muransky Castle. You can also visit caves like Dobsina Ice Cave, Vazecka Cave, and Ochtinska Argonit Cave.
For winter and summer trekking and waliking trips we recommend places near by like King’s Hola,Besnik, the meander of the river Hron and surrounding woodlands are ideal for walks through beautiful counrtyside.

For low budget nature lovers we offer Log Cabins with four three-bed rooms located near our hotel. If needed an extra 18 beds can be added to the log cabins, a total of 51 beds. All the rooms have en-suite with shower, TV and Radio. The accommodation for kids under 3 is free! (no bed or food included)
We also offer snow scooters in winter and fourwheeler with guide.
The Hotel offers restaurant services with daily specials. One of the specialities of the kitchen are meals prepared from venison. The open fire makes evening seating very cosy and intermate

Summer days can be spent on the hotel terrasse or the beautiful pond near by. The Barbecue is a fantastic plus for families with children. There is also a playground just by the BBQ for your use.

There is a lot of cycle-paths and cross country skiing and the down hill skiing lovers will be happy on the local slopes, all with artificial snow machines. The city of Telgar is only 5 km away.
